Blaine Tech is committed to creating and maintaining safe work environments for all of our employees.
Blaine Tech began providing the full 40-hour HAZWOPER training course to all field personnel as soon as the course became available in the late 1980s. Today, provided training includes all applicable CAL/OSHA standards (HAZWOPER, HAZCOM, Heat-Illness Prevention, First Aid/CPR, Fire Prevention, Emergency Action Plan, etc.); California’s IIPP, Prop. 65, etc., and supplemental health and safety training (Smith-System Safe Driver, Journey Management Planning, API, Work Area Delineation, Behavior Based Safety, etc.).
Much of our additional training is devoted to enhancing the ability of each field technician to recognize and mitigate hazards in the workplace as they move from one location to another.
Training is effective because Blaine Tech screens personnel for aptitude, attitude, integrity and a willingness to fully execute approved procedures.
Blaine Tech personnel understand the value of safety observations, audits and corrections. They expect to be audited by supervisors, clients and regulators.
Technicians are always willing to take direction, answer questions and explain procedures they have been trained to perform. Technicians are skilled, confident and productive.
